Problem Finding

Since we started this project without a problem to address we needed to hold a session where we would discover a problem. To do this each student provided a list of 10 problems, each on a post-it note, starting with a problem that affected them personally, then expanding their scope 9 more times until they were stating a problem facing the universe. All these post-it notes were then posted on a board, placed in general groups, and narrowed down to two general problems. Teams were assigned and each given one of the problems to refine and address. |
