With the move away from physical products towards non-physical services, the customer experience becomes far more important to the end consumer. This move can be seen in the advent of services such as the iTunes Music Store and Netflix. In order to design a valuable experience, designers must take a holistic, user-centered approach to their work and be able to understand and manage complex systems. Most importantly, a designer must understand the person using the product or service in order to better their experience. It is my passion to create consumer experiences that are both meaningful and beneficial.
